I specifically said that Cursebeard was worried about being hurt rather than wasting energy because of the energy curse. Having infinite energy doesn’t make you immune to injuries (or lacking a will to live for that matter).
Losing his will to live is the reason he died, he lost to undead zeus, a weaker version of zeus who got killed by prometheus
Cursebeard killed prometheus without any curses.
If he wanted to live still he wouldn’t have lost
Yeah I know, but my logic here was that the energy curse lets him attack at full power every time. I doubt the majority of Durza’s army are actually a threat to Cursebeard, it was mainly Undead Zeus and Durza who would prove to be his end.
My logic lies in the fact if Durza could make an army of undead capable of damaging or being a threat to Cursebeard, then he for sure could make an army capable of taking care of Theos and the entire Seven Seas (while Cursebeard was somewhere else at the time). Beyond that, lacking the will to live probably wouldn’t make him overly concerned about injuries considering if he REALLY wanted to defeat Durza then he probably could’ve just nuked them before they died. Averill I believe replaced one of his limbs with his light curse, so what’s losing a limb to someone who also possesses element based curses? Injuries to a curse user probably aren’t the same thing as injuries to a normal person anyways.
Oh you bring up a good point about Averill, but I feel like magic causes different injuries though that curses can’t just heal and there were many magic users that were undead too.
However, I will have to agree with you about how it was likely him not having the will to live that made him not want to fight the undead.
The clash between Theos in his prime and Durza was quite literally enough to destroy the entire world. Theos survived without so much as a lost limb despite being at the epicenter of that attack.
I don’t think anyone in One Piece compares.
one pieces fans when i fucking destroy their verse with a single multi continental breaking blast (someone has haki so they must win)
Nobody compares to that feat as far as we know, I’d like to think Whitebeard in his prime would put up a decent fight though.
Prime Theos would toy with them Emperors
theos can swim
negged immediately
Exactly. This is what people don’t seem to understand. The absorption curse is like the savant class but for magics and curses, Durza might be versatile but he’s a jack of all trades, not a specialist.
His skill with certain magics and curses is always outshined by the people who have specifically committed themselves to mastering those magics or curses.
For instance, Durza wouldn’t be able to use the sand curse anywhere near as effectively as Ramses could. Similarly, he wouldn’t be anywhere near Theos’ skill at using phoenix magic.
I personally don’t like the concept of Power Scaling because it makes unrealistic standards for certain characters.
But Theos won’t be defeated by even the top characters in their verse the only person that I May see almost defeating Theos is Joyboy and using the feats gear 5 luffy achieved like element manipulation and times that by 10 Theos would defeat him Extreme diff
Me when Theos swaps to Conjurer class
she kaggin on my bachi till I
