Which should i use?

i got a rusty zweihander and an colossal greatsword

currently the colossal has swift enchant and zweihander has ardent. I can change out the enchant to whatever for either, but idk which i should use, my zweihander is much faster and a little bigger, but my colossal just has WAY better damage

(also should i use spiked tower shield for the extra health or not use it for more dash distance)

i use ileg for my warlord so i already deal severe with everything, but if it deals severe AND normal bleeding THAT would be a deal breaker since it would deal double severe adding ileg bleed

you could test it

if it doesn’t apply severe + normal bleeding, colossal is slightly better but i’d still run zweihander due to preference

worst possible thing, it deals both, SOMETIMES, i havent tested WITH ileg tho

SOMETIMES it deals severe plus bleed, and SOMETIMES it deals only severe tho after testing with ileg it only deals severe with normal bleed

no, unimbued it SOMETIMES deals severe AND normal bleed, sometimes just severe, imbued it ALWAYS deals severe and bleed but still not double severe

i use zweihander myself and it’s always only dealt severe bleeding, nothing buggy

regardless, if ileg imbue applies severe AND normal bleeding, run zweihander four shores

ehh i jus used it, and its not rlly good, maybe im jus not used to it, but its literally using the same moveset but faster but TERRIBLE DMG, only deals like 300

also tho, another thing, should i use shield or ditch it for more dash?

0.1x more size

0.05x more speed

applies an extra 20% dot over colossal greatsword so the damage ends up more or less the same

if i use bleed grease i CAN get the double severe but my dmg would be down to like 0.7
also should i take off ardent? and use like swift or strong

grease doesn’t reduce dmg by that much :skull:

and ye run swift or any t1 enchant i personally use swift cus str weps so slooooooow

what should i use in shields place tho? since colossal im mostly used to main moveset i use, and i tried using both and it was hella confusing, ALSO swift zweihander is only like 5% faster than swift colossal

i run stormcaller zweihander lance of loyalty, all swift

it’s like 7.5% faster but yeah what can u do about it :person_shrugging:
