White Screen Tearing

What were you doing before the bug occurred: I was walking/sprinting over to exile when my screen all of a sunden my screen had white blocks flickering for a second then disappeared. This usually happens when I am fighting or in an area that is being destroyed, possibly when frames are slower.

Steps to reproduce: not sure

F9 Logs ( press f9 to view them in-game): not sure

This is not an actual image of the bug, but it is a representation of what the bug actually looks like. Of course, the screen also flickers for a few seconds and the squares move around a bit. Now it may be my monitor, but I have not noticed the problem outside of WoM. I might want to see if it’s a Roblox issue by seeing if it appears in other games.

Ummm I think it just might be a problem with your monitor in general.

Weird because it does not happen in any other game.

Has anyone encountered this bug before?

Just check in other games. Does not happen. I even checked on games that are not on Roblox, and still nothing.

i mean… he didn’t read this part

would be more usefull if you could provide video >->

I’ll try, but the problem is that it does not happen consistently.

Oh wait I think I had this bug before when like activating/deactivating fullscreen during a loading where Roblox froze which made it have a stroke and constantly opening and closing extremely fast leading to something that looked somewhat similar.
Wasn’t in WoM (long ago) and it’s not really the same but in that case the problem was my laptop I think. Also you would have clearly noticed if it was the same as mine since it was nearly impossible to shut down Roblox without restarting your computer but just wanted to point that out.

I have been playing in windowed mode, I can try going back to full screen. I will also try to record a video.

maybe this is what happens when you have like… 0.2 of a frame per second

It seems to have resolved itself as I have not noticed any screen tearing in the past days.

No, exactly what the image I posted looks like. You know how sometimes when you play a game your screen might tear if you have anti-aliasing disabled? That is exactly what it looks like, but instead of the transparent tearing, it looks like white squares. Luckily it has no happened so far so I think it’s good, for now.

Unfortunately, this isn’t an issue that Vetex can fix. It can be many things that cause this issue, it could be your graphic drivers, could be your screen or could be ROBLOX itself.
