Yeah me too thats why I mentioned it lol
So cursebeard in ar is an idiot then?
Bro just let morock’s son join them
really fucking cool story around him where he got his hands on the promethean fire curse
he used it by only using it through a sword to lessen the emotional effects from the curse
got named the hound of the gods for simply being strong as fuck and killed alot of people
he fought the arcane government on his last day, only losing cause hes fighting on water and finally went berserk
The glazing is real
(also it was a ghost ship item in 3rd sea)
And a legendary weapon
He used the curse itself for difficult fights. Imbuing it into a weapon could only get him so far when his enemies were the One Shot Pirates and the Arcane Government, the two strongest forces in the Seven Seas, more dangerous than Durza.
The QnA in the old Lore Encyclopedia revealed Morock was actually given the Curse directly by Prometheus. And Prometheus just requested Morock to kill Arthur, but Tech seemed to emphasised that it wasnt a command, he just told him to do that. And Morock and Arthur didnt hate each other.
I remember reading about Freedrock’s backstory somewhere, but now I cant find the original source I found it. I cant verify if its legit or Im tripping, so take what Im about to say with a BIG grain of salt. I dont wanna cause a big mandela effect here-
Freedrock’s Curse (Lazarus Curse) was actually the first ever Curse that humanity was ever given, before magic was ever given to humanity. The Gods essentially made it because they got curious on what happens if a human ever got a Curse and essentially, he got f*cked by them.
The Lazarus Curse revives the user and makes them slightly stronger afterwards, but the chances are decreased with every death. However, Freedrock is unfortunate (or fortunate?) to literally be the luckiest human alive and keeps being revived. Every. Single. Time. I think the power is increased according to the golden ratio or something. This might be retconned by now, cause it seems weird lol.
What I found odd at the time was that it was also confirmed Freedrock worked for fhe Gods during the War of the Gods (this one, I have a source), but we dont know who he did work for exactly. This seems to be borrowed from the old lore in which Freedrock defended Olympus.
For the rest of Freedrock’s story, wait for the game itself to reveal more. Because apparently, anythign related to Freedrock will be spoilers, meaning he’ll be covered there.
I thought Prometheus was killed pretty quickly after he made the curses?
seeing as he had to make a curse for every magic, he probably had quite a bit of time to make the curses. during this presumably lengthy period of time he made the grand fire curses probably slowly and secretly
Remember how Poseidon literally talked to us despite being dead?
Might be similar.
Ah yeah maybe
what?
hear me out.
curses are bigger and fling further the more powerful they are.
what if the promethean flame curse isn’t on the moon, and instead it IS the moon
very round curse
You dirty-minded buffoon, you know that isnt what I meant
12 gods 1 mortal
this is what i was thinking about
Oh damn, this is so ancient post.
I like this way too much
Yeah the greek gods are immortal, and when their physical bodies are destroyed, their souls will remain, which is exactly why posiedon was able to talk to us and probably how prometheus gave Morock the curse
