my 3 theories on what happens and the outcome/result of it
A: Wotan vs Ren
B: Wotan vs King Admiral
C: King Admiral vs Nero
A (1): both are heavily weakened after the battle and the azura province gets dragged into the sameria/keraxe war (draw)
A (2): ren is dead which gives us our 2nd awakening (wotan victory)
B: wotan extreme difs the king admiral but doesnt kill him since if he did the same thing that the world did to nero would do to him (arrest him) but he has a sizeable bounty issued onto him for his crime
C: nero breaks out of captivity and goes after the king admiral for revenge, the king admiral extreme difs nero putting a true end to neros tyranny
We know the Thorne npcs at the Sun Serai are mercenaries getting in on the war to make some money, pretty sure the Twitter post said that. Thus I don’t think the Thorne Empire is gonna get involved because so far the Thorne people involved don’t seem to be affiliated with the Thorne government or their military. Could be wrong though.
Yea, he wants to stay out of the war, but it’s possible Wotan tries to jump us (maybe provoked by us killing one of his sons), and Warren is forced to intervene to save us.
Maybe? That kinda depends on a couple things. Like did Thorne tell those mercenaries to join the war, or did they go to Nimbus themselves looking for work. I’d bet on the latter personally. It also depends on if Keraxe cares enough that there are two Thorne mercenaries helping out the war effort. If they do care then they should probably care about the Ryujin mercenary as well and drag Ryujin in as well.
I guess that would be a good way to start a much wider conflict that can rage on in the both the forefront and background when we’re doing order related stuff. Though me personally I think this showdown is gonna be Wotan vs Warren and Keraxe will probably start attacking Azura afterwards. Whether or not Sameria is still around by that point I dunno. I have a feeling the war won’t be over by the time we leave, but Sameria will have somewhat managed to push Keraxe back a little bit though maybe not out of Nimbus, and create a somewhat stable frontline while Keraxe has to both reorganize, recover from any losses, and begin putting more of their effort towards the stronger opponent of Azura. Don’t know if Warren would die in this showdown or just get away, I doubt he’d win otherwise Wotan is out really fast, but either way even if he’s out of commission Azura who still has their armies, navy, and hopefully other curse users intact, would probably take primary concern over a battered Sameria.
Sorry that kinda devolved into just my prediction of what’s gonna happen, but it sorta had to do with why I don’t exactly think Thorne is gonna be a major part of this. Plus Aegean comes before Chimera so if the conflict moved there we wouldn’t be seeing much of it for a good while.
