Julian is kind of an obvious choice tbh. Assuming all this stuff about calvus’s children is true, then he’s easily the most likely to become regent if revon’s out of the picture. After that, well, it’s a small step from regent to king.
He has like practically no competition (unless ravenna has other curse users, which afaik isn’t the case) if the order doesn’t intervene
Personally, I think it would be cool if it was a mix of ideas. The daughter could probably take the throne with the advice of neviro, the guy who kidnapped the mayor, and julian.
You have the knowlage of a foreign kingdom, a man from of poor background, and a soldier who has knowladge of the past and military. I like the idea that perhaps calvus’ children aren’t like him, and that could cause change in ravenna with the help of differing groups.
Will this happen? no clue, but it’s nice to think about everyone finding a way to come together for a better kingdom
How would julian and neviro work, though? Or perhaps he is misguided / brainwashed by Ravenna, and wouldn’t have much against him turning a new leaf (which includes vengeance, a thing Revon has for us)
