magic is only stronger when a person would otherwise be equal or a somewhat below someone else, prime argos is prob much stronger than calvus’s peak strength in his fight
Remember, Argos was referred to as “the strongest and most respected Ravenna general”
Which means, he may not be as powerful as julian CURRENTLY, but for some time he was able to outclass a curse user. This means prime Argos would have been INCREDIBLY powerful, most certainly moreso than calvus.

I kinda hope we get some kind of in-game Underworld Gauntlet where we fight the primes of each major character we for sure know die. So Argos being a guaranteed death, he’ll be the first to be in the Gauntlet. Ofc, some side bosses could unlock their own Prime Battles. Reward wise, it could be some point system for each boss that let’s us uncap their gears level, and maybe tier up it’s rarity.
