There are different tiers of premium. You can’t exchange Robux for IRL currency until you get the HIGHEST tier. 400 Robux DOES NOT equal 5$ when paid to a developer. IT LOSES VALUE DUE TO ROBUX TAXING.

vetex has to make money somehow since gamepasses are the only way he can profit off wom, and if u also take into account that taxes exist thru dev ex, it makes sense.

They are overpriced. Just 1 animation pack goes $5. Each animation pack usually isn’t even that cool to have and should definitely be lowered in my opinion to at least 200-250. Keep in mind, these packs don’t offer a lot and you barely notice them. Something like 3 new files while being way more expensive, still has reason and something cool to get. You can’t even mix and match certain animations so you’re stuck with only using 1 pack.
Think about how if you buy all animation packs including cute, it would cost you R$1500 which is around $15. This price would only continue to rise and feels way too much for only one pack. You can get some pretty high quality games at the same price if this continues.
Vetex already makes a lot due to how much WoM players spend. There’s global messages, donations, animation packs, and other gamepasses.
EDIT: Some other gamepasses that are way nicer
- Emote Pack, hopefully around 100-150 robux. Nice little additions to use whenever.
- Builds/Outfits, 300-400 robux seems fair. Probably the most useful gamepass. Sadly I wish it was available to everyone but it has a purpose.

It feels like a gamepass at least reasonable. It gives you 3 extra slots to see how things go. Something like animation packs in my opinion dont feel as worth it. It’s even worse that the price is $5

Vetex develops full-time so it’s the only way to make a profit, the gamepasses aren’t even that expensive, if they were any lower he would make literally nothing for the amount of work he’s done because if you’ve forgotten roblox takes a cut of the robux purchased. If you think 5 dollars is expensive idk then my friend. He has to profit somehow, other games have way more expensive gamepasses. If you think about it, 5 dollars is just a snack pretty much. Also as you said it’s only cosmetic, it’s not like the gamepasses are P2W and there will never be P2W gamepasses.

400 Robux is only $5, and I price them based on how many animations were made for them. I’m done pricing game passes at like 50 and 100 like in my old games because it undervalues the work that goes into them, and I treat Roblox more like a job now compared to back then. The prices of game passes will never change, call me greedy if you want, I don’t care. All game passes will still remain as vanity/things that don’t affect gameplay, so the price really doesn’t matter, as long as its not insane like 1,000.
