Vetex, the animation packs are pretty good and all, but why do they cost so much? Like the chance of seeing someone with an animation pack is uncommon to rare, like it’s really hard to see people with it. They cost 400 Robux which I know may sound to a rich person little, but to the majority of us it is a lot. Why don’t you make the price 200 Robux instead? Like the animation packs are completely cosmetic so why would they cost a lot? Same thing with the muscles package, no one even buys that because it’s overpriced, so why not make it 100 Robux instead?
What I’m saying is the animations are good and all, but you can earn way more money if you decrease the price, people will want to buy it since it becomes cheaper. So normally a person wouldn’t buy something that costs 400 Robux, but 2 people can buy something that costs 200 Robux which will give you 400 robux, right? It’s like a slightly slower version of getting Robux but the amount of sales are gonna increase faster, in the end you get Robux.
No one will probably read this because it looks like a long essay and I probably just wasted my time on nothing, but if you did read it, I hope you get my point. Vetex if you won’t change the prices at least make it 200 Robux for a few days.
The cheapest Robux option is the 400 one for around 5$ when you buy Robux, so setting it to 400 will be the most efficient in earning Robux, because players will buy Robux 400 at a time. Even if he made it cheaper and players had leftover Robux, it’s not like they could buy anything else either. Probably just a donator title.
It’s cosmetic, so for all I care, Vetex can price it at 2k and it would just be considered a luxury, which doesn’t affect gameplay at all.
In reality, it would make sense to have the price be set for 75 Robux at the most for animation packs. The muscles game pass would make sense to be 50 Robux at the most and the extra files gamepass would make sense to be 15 Robux at the most.
It also has to do with how Roblox taxes developers of some of the Robux they make. If you don’t have builders club - errm - I mean “Premium” you will be taxed a good ol 90%. Even for the top PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION (20$ per month) pretty sure you still get taxed. AND THEN to even CASH out Robux to IRL currency that requires undergoing a verification process, PROVING you made those Robux yourself, AND requiring you have the highest teir subscription of PREMIUM.
TLDR; Roblox loves to tax, developers typically don’t get all of what you give them.
With premium a developer will get around 70% of the sale. The 30% left will go to roblox for server maintenance, wages to their workers, profit (of course), and more.
Sorry, but you are actually wrong. According to the DevEx rate, 100K robux is equal to 350$.
If we do the math, this will gives us around 350/100 000 = 0.0035$ for one robux. 400 robux will therefore be around 400 * 0.0035 = 1.4$ if I’ve done my math correctly. (Sorry if I’ve done any mistakes. I had a pretty large test and a lot of work today and I’m a bit exhausted.)
It doesn’t matter how expensive cosmetics are, because they’re cosmetics. It isn’t even like it’s a required 300-400 robux purchase to play the game or anything.
Think of it more like another donator pack with a side of animation pack.
It’s not wrong but then he could just make those gamepasses that are at least somewhat useful like more save files more expensive than any cosmetic (like he already did) because, well, cosmetic things are useless.
I don’t have problems with cosmetic gamepasses being expensive but that better not affect anything useful.
