same lol, my comic and my story I am making both fantasy and comic AO related. Are both destructive, and deadly, many die, but many good things happen.
Also I would like to point out that snowflakes notoriously only melt when there is a change. Surely describing a person as a snowflake would mean that they get really upset by change, which is ironic given that the people who normally use it as an insult get upset by exactly that.
i hate completely useless and unnecessary censorship like how people on tiktok (+ other platforms) need to say “unalive” instead of kill
at best it’s inconvenient, at worst it forces people to make light of serious subjects by using these replacement terms. It’s not even a matter of sounding silly in this case, it’s a matter of making it unnecessarily difficult for people to talk about serious topics that SHOULD be talked about (in the right places ofc. Ex. A right place would be a youtube video about one of these subjects)
this isn’t the only example of censorship like this, demonetization in general for youtube videos is another one
we shouldnt limit the discussion of serious topics when they are in the places they should be, making them taboo online helps nobody and hurts a lot of people

personally i feel like i’d say i might be balanced, not too progressive not too conservative

id have to guess theres not many conservatives on the ao forums in general though

There’s a very stark difference between American (the majority of the people on here) conservatives and conservatives from elsewhere, I don’t know the political situation in Australia but the Conservative Party in America basically advocates for genocide or any other method of getting rid of against anyone they don’t like, which is bad, but the main reason so many younger people are progressive is because it’s physically impossible to climb up the economic ladder with the policies the Conservative Party has and wishes to impose (crippling student loans, no universal healthcare, lack of a minimum wage, etc. etc.), meaning the vast majority of educated people in the US end up being progressive, or if they would be conservative elsewhere they aren’t because they don’t wish to be associated with the more insane ones.

I rigorously follow global politics and especially American politics cuz election, and it really isn’t that extreme.
Ok I’m not really gonna elaborate further at risk of getting this post closed but the current conservative candidate is explicitly advocating for lack of human rights for lgbt+ people

culture: a lot, as the protagonists (chosen vanguards) come from all around the world
lgbtq: not really since i probably won’t show any dating
disability: would go against story lore because choosing disabled people to save humanity is not a good idea (can happen but very rare lorewise)

This is a very dangerous way of thinking, simply because of how polarizing it is. I hate people who attack others for not seeing something as important/the same as them, but to lump those people with others who want a positive change is very… bad to put simply. I’m not too worried of your political views, nor do I want to talk about any, but please consider the impact of viewing things as a “Us vs Them”
