Why can you block bullets?

It’s not realistic at all that players can block/parry bullets… especially with their bare arms.
Even a shield cannot realistically block bullets, it shouldn’t.

Blocking them with swords and other weapons makes no sense either, and also isn’t realistic. Even if you somehow “blocked” a bullet with a sharp weapon, it would likely split in half and hit you twice. If you do this in game, it should make you take double damage from the split fragments.

This is all ruining my immersion, and I speak for everyone when I say:

Bullets should honestly pierce through all blocking, guns require skill and there should be a reward for doing well with them. It’s very annoying when your opponent casually parries and avoids every single shot like they’re Neo.

There should be an exception to arrows. I think it makes sense that your bare arms can block arrows, but it would really hurt, which is why you would not be able to parry them.
Shields should be an exception to this, since shields can very well completely block/parry arrows realistically.

what do you think?

Nobody wants your bullets in them.

As a tradeoff, guns become waterlogged and unusable any time you swim in the ocean

We can’t forget a random chance of them jamming and ending barrage skills early. Also we need to make it so you need to have the gun out for it to reload; meaning it won’t reload in your pocket.

It’s not realistic to parry BOLTS OF LIGHTNING either, or gusts of wind so sharp they can tear apart the ground, or literal SOUL ENERGY, so reasonably by your logic the only attacks that you should be able to block or parry are fighting style attacks!

we can block bullets becaues were using aura to protect ourselves and reinforce our arms temporarily its probably a basic ability in the verse

It’s pretty simple really! You just take your arm or any weapons you may have and move it in front of the bullet before it hits your body! This blocks the bullet from hitting you! Hope this helped :hugs::+1:

What would be blockable?

Bullet from some 1800’s gun.

Punch from a dude powerful enough to Chunk a piece of a mountain and force wind into a cannon-like hit.

Human sized sphere of a mystical energy only supposed to be used by gods, gifted to humans that mimics any force or property in this universe near perfectly.
