as you can see, they have similar synergies with earth, lightning, metal, crystal and explosion.

but frozen requires wind + ice, water + ice, or water + snow iirc.
crystallized just needs a single hit from crystal.

therefore crystallized reactions are easier to proc, and therefore better than frozen if you want a free slot for a magic you want

…you are telling me someone argued that frozen wasnt the hardest effect to make use off synergy wise? its only threatening if you are using the same magic to cause and break it in the same spell (ice, maybe frostmetal) or under rain

Freezing also has synergies, and you didn’t note that frozen holds the opponent in place (However, the effect is destroyed once the opponent uses a skill/spell)

im not saying crystal is better than ice (ice is pog) but that crystallized is better for easy synergizing
and also to explain to that other dude
frozen freezing them doesnt matter too much

Crystallized is definitely better than frozen, yeah. The only situation where frozen is way better is if your opponent isn’t expecting it and you manage to get a huge boost on your next hit because of it.

Yeah but frozen requires magics that have more redeemable qualities than being an RGB keyboard.

Also, shatter better get a massive damage boost against frozen targets or my late game build falls apart entirely
