Why do my monitor be doing this (technically ao related)

for a transcript of the video, its a recording of me in the dark sea and some like transparent vertical bars be flashing around, but then when i minimize the video player the bars go away. the bars also appear when im playing in game, so im like, 58.62% sure it’s a monitor issue

ive also had it happen one time at the stepstones, but mainly the ds. i presume it’s like a thing with the colours? since it’s happening when i play video too, not just in game
