I am someone who doesn’t really see the appeal of shipping that much but I am capable of recognizing that most people only ship because they think its fun / cute. Its not some weird sexual thing

This is one of the most unhinged posts I have read on the forums. Almost no one sees shipping this way, in my experience. Shipping is an essential part of most fiction communities, spurring plotlines and fanworks alike. People do not write character relationships to sexually excite the audience.
Just… look at the bigger picture, man. There is more to life than… this.
