Getting jumped will always put you at a disadvantage, and is NEVER representative of your actual skill or ability, so don’t sweat that for a second. I get the same thing with getting jittery when I get into a fight with a player (especially when I’m not expecting it), but it’s good to remember that even if ya lose, you’ve still gained some knowledge and practice in a disadvantageous situation, meaning you’ll do even better with even odds, if that makes any sense.
Anyways, I don’t really mind being RK’ed because it comes with the territory, and I expect it to happen plenty of times to me in AO. Just gotta keep my chin up and get better, so I can win those fights.
I used to pvp a lot in WoM thanks to being in a guild previously, so my water file and magma file both have at least 70 kills.
I’ve rusted so much since then so my files look much stronger than I actually am right now
lol same, i get so tense during pvp with random people that my jaw hurts and my heart beats super fast. i need to get better at that since it really doesnt matter
Yeah separating “PvP that matters” and “PvP that doesn’t matter” has been tough as hell for me, but I’ve definitely gotten into a “don’t give a fuck im just gonna have fun” mindset as I’ve gotten older. Definitely recommend clipping your fights and re-watching 'em to see what you did right or wrong, as you get better you’ll naturally feel more calm.
A lot of people saying that they dont think RKing (being the victim) is representative of your real pvp skill, but imo it is. Obviously you’re not gonna perform your best at first since you’re caught off guard, but your ability to fight in the wild is more “real” than your ability to fight in the arena imo
oh, look.
I was leveling up remade archie and saw this happening, the guy in a guild tried attacking me but i was lvl 41 so i danced in his face as he tried
