DOA is a great game, but most of you probably don’t even know about this game on Roblox. DOA is a game like Madcity and Jailbreak (or a “border/survival RP” game as Google says) where you can join FEAR (basically the cops) or become a criminal. But, the thing is, DOA is just different than these two games. The mechanics, style, details, and ideas put into this game are what make it so unique. Still don’t understand why it’s a great game? Let me explain.
The Mechanics
DOA has great mechanics, like the cars in the game. The way cars were designed and implemented into this game is just GENIUS. When you buy a car, it is added to your inventory where you can place it where ever you want (you can’t place it literally ANYWHERE, and you can still use some cars without buying them, you just won’t be able to store them into your inventory or respawn them). As of right now, there is no kind of fuel you need to drive cars in this game, so you can drive for as long as you want as long as you don’t crash. Now, in games like Jailbreak and Madcity, the only way to stop a car from moving is to either shoot the vehicle or get out of the car and eject the person in the car at right the just moment. In DOA, you still need to do these things, but there is another option. They designed cars in this game so that when you crash into something or get shot at, your vehicle has a “stall bar” and when that goes all the way down (or was it up?) your vehicle stalls and you won’t be able to drive for about 10 seconds. So, if you’re trying to catch a criminal you can ram your car into theirs and you keep pressing on their car with yours for a few seconds, their car will eventually begin to stall (OR you could stall first). Now, you may be thinking: But there are people who lag! Surprisingly, the vehicles in this game are not that laggy and very easy to control. I am not even joking when I say this, you can literally not sit in the back of a squad truck and you won’t fall off. You’ll be able to shoot back if anyone is chasing you or you are being chased! Unless the vehicle flips over or makes a big jump, you should be fine. The reason why not having to sit is such a good thing is because you can’t shoot while sitting in a vehicle since that would be a bit OP. The guns in this game are great, they feel balanced and aren’t too easy to kill with.
Criminals
As a criminal in DOA, your main objective is to earn money illegally. To do that, you have to first sneak through the border. This is what I enjoy most about DOA. You’ll wanna buy a C4 (or hacking devices if you want to try and sneak in a harder way) so you can blow your way through the border. The tutorials should tell you where to go, so once you sneak into Aurora, it’s best to have some type of vehicle bought and you should probably spawn it as soon as you can and drive away as FEAR agents will try to arrest you. Then find a black market and you’ll be able to buy guns, health items, and items needed to rob the bank and the club. To rob the bank you’ll need at least one hacking device and C4. It is suggested you buy a rare C4 so you can make an easy escape out of the bank. If you buy another hacking device you can use it to disable the security to make it easier for you to not die (though I don’t normally do that). You normally get 7,000 - 10,000 cash from the bank (the lowest I’ve ever gotten was 2,000, but it’s only happened to me once), but you’ll have to escape FEAR before you can take the cash into your inventory (there is a larger duffel bag game pass for 400 R$, but that’s the only game pass).
FEAR
FEAR is basically law enforcement. As a FEAR agent, your job is to defend the border. You should arrest criminals on sight and can be rewarded with their bounty (I don’t play FEAR much, sorry)
