This just seems odd to me. As you can see here and here, acid does more damage to burning, but not magma. Has the information just not been updated yet?

yeahhhh if this game had logic then water would do nothing, shadow wouldnt do anything, light would be a beam and do nothing but burn your eyes probably, ink would just feel weird, and paper… paper wouldnt do shit besides for crumple when it hit you and glass would fucking hurt. and on and on
