Why does each File has a separate guild?

I don’t understand why each file isn’t in the same guild. You have to invite each file individually and they count as individual members. There isn’t much to say, I am just annoyed by this fact.

I find it helpful. I can be in my main guild on my main file, and also be in a bank guild on a grinding file, or in a friend’s guild on my file with a stupid build. Plus, I may not want every file of mine to be in a guild.

Because each file is supposed to be a different person, it makes sense that different people can be in different guilds.

I just find it annoying since I want to be in my guild for all my files, so maybe they shouldn’t count as individual members.

A bit selfish, eh?

Think about it like this: If it were like that, those who wanted to be in different guilds would be forced to have alts which are pretty inconvenient, but you get what you want.

But if it’s like it is now, you get what you want with a bit of extra work, and people who want to be in more guilds get what they want. Everyone can have what they want, without too much inconvenience.

How about read my last reply before being a twat.

How about try to understand what he said before being a twat

How about you stop being a twat and use your brain about what he said instead of calling him a twat.

Love how toxic this community is : )

You’re the cause of this community’s toxicity.

I ask a question, someone is kind of a dick about it and I can’t get mad.

“A bit selfish, eh?” is less toxic than calling people a twat and complaining about a community being toxic for it.

If he read the reply before that, he wouldn’t have typed it out like that. Yeah I was aggressive, can’t really undo that.

You can apologise :fr:

Sorry for calling you a twat.

But you could at least consider my compromise.

I hate the toxic part.

No biggie, didn’t need to apologise at all. I’ve been kinda dead today so I didn’t reply till now and seems like things turned into a bit of a pilling on you, so allow to explain what I wanted to say:

The reasoning you gave me was selfish by definition, so that’s why I called it that.

Fits pretty well with the “concerned with oneself with little regard to others” type of selfishness. It suited you better to have all files in the same guild, but you forgot to think about others who would want to be on multiple guilds on the same account but wouldn’t be able to if things worked the way you preferred them to.

Basically, the way you would want it to work would prevent others from being in different guilds. Denying others something so you can save a few steps is selfish reasoning imo.

Deus vult!
