Why does light magic not have healing properties

Wow you guys are really overcomplicating things here.

Light Magic is simply just a magic that’s quick and blinding nothing more nothing less, it is NOT that deep.

p.s: just because it’s correlated to something else doesn’t mean it’s that thing, may I also mention the inconsistencies of the lore regarding the power systems in AA writing?

Also you glossed over wither

If it gets rid of the chemical burns, ya it’s healing

Removing Poisoned doesnt ALWAYS mean healing. Correlation ≠ Causation.

If it were healing, it wouldnt just remove Poison, it should also give back the damage you sustained from Poisoned. But all it does is stop the Poison itself and not heal the person.

And I gave up on the Light Magic stuff, since clearly no one is gonna convince you lol.

So by this logic you think medicine isn’t healing because it gets rid of a disease, not actively repairs your cells to before they were effected

There are also different meaning of ‘healing’ and the fact that there are types of ‘healing’ such as curing, which is commonly used as clearing an effect whereas healing is literally fixing or tending to one’s wounds (atleast in games like these)

Also I dont think I’ve ever seen a doctor in the AA universe. The type where the doctor uses medicinal equipment, I mean, not JUST magic.

in this case I’m pretty sure the water is just washing the acid off, not healing chemical burns. same reason why in chemistry labs they have big ass showers that dump water on you in case you spill harmful chemicals (ie acids) on yourself - to wash the acid off

  1. Base magic, be fucking stupid if a base magic could heal
  2. Light is associated with speed in AU
  3. Life magic, which was a mutation does that

Also that would make it the most painful prog tool for early game

Fair, then I’d say it doesn’t heal

Im pretty sure they exist, just cause one hasnt seemingly appeared doesnt mean there isnt one. “Doctors” have existed even in ancient times irl. And you can make healing potions and stuff. Pretty sure they exist somewhere. And of course it wouldnt be shown cause why would there be a doctor station?

On god bro, I do not why these people think it’s much more deeper than that Vetex was a teenager when he was making this stuff… I personally would also call Light Magic abilities have the word “Divine” in them because it sounds cooler nothing more to it.

Honestly.

He made a divine curse before he even made light magic/added divine prefixes.

I agree he added it because divine sounds cool, that doesn’t mean it isn’t intended to be divine as well

gameplay>>> lore for ao
despite the gameplay sucks balls atm

There are many meanings to what you can call ‘divine’ and your just generalizing light magic from it.

A Divine Curse could be a retconned Light Curse, IF ANYTHING has there ever been any characters referred to as “The Messiah” or anything DIVINE related anyway?

Unless I missed greek stuff.

the divine curse could also have been something different like the life magic curse, or maybe a completely unique external curse

Aether does not mean bright light in English

So this just proves it then, Light isn’t supposed to be related in divinity in either way but Aether on the other hand seems to come from this particular god because it’s stated as ‘heavenly’ thereby being Aether having no healing properties but instead only unique to Life Magic, and maybe some others If I forgot.

Vetex just likes making things cool, I’ll leave it at that. (don’t we all anyway)
