Looking at the swimspeed gem changes reaction specifically, why do you people always victimize yourself when your barely forced to simply fight other players?
YOU CAN BE A PVE PLAYER AND STILL HAVE TO DEFEND YOURSELF
Trying to make the game more annoying for people who like to PvP because you don’t want to do it isn’t fair to the other side, it’s just annoying. The swimspeed changes are a good thing if you quit tunnel visioning yourself as a victim and look at the larger picture of the community.
Reminder this is coming from someone who doesn’t PvP either, I think these changes are great for people who want to do leaderboards and don’t want to deal with high renown players running away constantly and sitting in water to leave outside combat.
i dont even pvp that much anymore, but i’ve had like 5 different people who randomly try attacking me THEN SWIM AWAY LIKE A MOTORBOAT WHEN I BEAT THEIR ASS
they tend to have a few bad experiences and act as if the entire pvp community is subhuman doggies that solely gank pve players for infamy
thats what it seems like atleast
anyway, i cant say much for the swimspeed changes (havent ran into anyone using this to run) but i had an unfortunate 50+ minute encounter with a fella using agil pots (and honestly probably agil gear too, i doubt agil 5 was THAT strong) and heals
most unfun, dogshit experience ao has provided me with so far.
Fuck agility, you NEVER will be missed.
i dont really care about swim speed jewels not working to run away from hunters i just hate the way its done. losing all your swim speed when exploring an underwater structure because you got hit by a shark sucks, and the ao combat tag sucks and doesnt fade when you kill the enemy that was attacking you, it takes a while of not taking damage
idk, maybe because changing how a stat acts like in-combat because of a small minority of players called ‘attackers that run away once low’ affects us as well despite not being part of that demography.
We’re essentially being punished because of a few bad apples that aren’t even a part of our ‘group’.
