I think the problem personally is that there’s a balance team that tries to balance the game, but has the primary objective of balancing the combat. I know that they’ve been trying to make changes on the PVE side of the game as well, but that’s not the same as the PVP changes. Why?

PVE changes don’t affect PVP in the slightest usually. Changing the drop-rates of something isn’t going to affect how your fight against some dweeb will go. PVP changes however significantly affect PVE. Now, because people don’t like having to fight against a certain type of skill, you’re fucked against that npc/atlantean in front of you, because your tools just got damaged. Let’s say you want to use a type of potion to escape, or help yourself at least in this situation. Unfortunately, there’s been a change due to bounty hunters not liking how “unfair” a type of potion was, and now your potions are rendered far weaker than before.

Basically the issue as far as I know is that PVP changes always affect PVE players, but PVE changes never affect PVP players. As such, it feels like PVP players have priority in terms of experience.

if you change something global like combat in a small way, it’s still going to change combat for both pvp and pve players
