Hello, if I wanted to get fucked without my consent, I’d go out in the streets in my pyjamas past midnight… but that would still be with my consent, what a paradox!

Video games are a story of push&pull, risk&reward, expectations and reality. Are video games fun because they’re realistic? No. If I had fun with realism, I wouldn’t be playing video games in the first place.
What does that have to do with consent in battle? It’s simple; A battle is a gamble, and gambling is done willingly.
Do you find fun in finding your wallet playing at the casino without your consent? It’d be funny to see, but you’d then figure out that you’ve been ruined without your awareness. Wouldn’t that make you feel bad? Think of being stolen in broad daylight, would that make you feel good? No, and if you think so, you’re delusional.

tl;dr human psychology, theft, consent, etc.

Strawman or not, you can’t throw out an SA example and then expect people to address the logic that you used rather than the example you chose to bring up.

That’s like if I had a pet fly and then someone killed it and there response to me was “why do you care so much about that fly” and my response was “why do you care so much about your uncle? Maybe I should kill him too.”
