Why does vetex act like a dictator

ok apart from sea creatures and atlanteans

Probably wont be a big deal when we get to the new lvl cap

our grandkids will tell us about it

Aint no wait a mage is more than building or small town level rn (in lore)

I wonder how land battles in arcane universe works?

the main character in lore is probably city level considering he killed king calvus

aka us

calvus a fraud tho

Fraud but at least Tiberia level

It would be cool to see a cutscene with 2 big armies fighting in a big island like sameria.

Then small town level it is

Tbf you Roblox jits are annoying as hell

I would’ve turned into a dictator within an hour in Vetex’s position

I’d be rivaling Stalin

Except he is. Have you ever INTERACTED with Fridge? Every time he talks in the Discord or in the forum he causes issues with anyone he’s talking to, not just Vetex.

Are you really going to say “he’s not a hater because he made a thread praising the balance team” when just a few days ago he was calling out Metapoly of all people for being a spineless coward? He literally just posts hate comments and then “praise” thread in alternation. You’d have to be giving him EXTREME benefit of the doubt to assume he’s being genuine.

This could be true but regardless of whether or not it’s a symptom of Vetex some of these behaviours are just inexcusable. If you want to make an argument of cause an effect, go ahead. I don’t think you can try and get a community to change quicker than you can get an individual to change.

But don’t go around pretending people like Fridge of all people are just “reasonable individuals who were banned because Vetex is too sensitive.”

Like this is why I can’t take your arguments honestly. It was CLEARLY an insult and CLEARLY unproductive, regardless of whether or not you think it’s true. That’s like if I called someone fat and ugly and you said “welp that’s valid criticism because they are lol”

I am not saying fridge a perfect nor even a swell guy, but hes not this “devil of all humankind” that is for some reason the agenda being pushed on the narrative rn

mk i will concede that fridge might not be a good example, i was not all that familiar with his reputation because i dont care all that much about the AO pvp scene

Did this very minor and childish insult even come close to warranting Vetex trauma-dumping on his life? NO! Vetex’s response to Fridge was my point, hes outright seen to be exclusively defensive when any hint of backlash comes his way

Vetex is too defensive and prone to ignoring valid criticism, I agree. But these two were banned for reasons beyond just being critics. I’ll admit I don’t know much of Pythoncones, but Fridge is unable to hold any conversation with anyone he disagrees with without stooping to flat-out insults. This guy will straight up insult your masculinity because you don’t want to engage with AO’s PVP, and that is no exaggeration.

Fridge didn’t just have the ban coming—it was overdue.

If someone literally only creates strife and unhelpful argument in the community, then it makes complete sense to remove them if they don’t stop doing so.

Yes he is the devil of all humankind that the agenda is pushing.

Obviously he’s not a “devil” or anything like that but we both know this statement is an exaggeration to say “he’s not as bad as people are making it out to be.”

So is my statement. He is as bad as people are making him out to be.

In the sense that developers shouldn’t take random community opinions seriously and should try to maintain their cool? No it wasn’t really warranted. Neither was it an appropriate response.

But of all responsese you could get banned for that wasn’t exactly veering on the side of “unreasonable.”

But do you guys not see this and think “wow, maybe this implies that there is a serious problem going on” rather than just repeating the “lol can’t handle criticism” point over and over again?

HERE IT IS!!!

Hey. Do you know who Ash Trevino is?

His masculinity was based on fights in an online lego brick game? 🫨:scream_cat::scream_cat::scream_cat::scream_cat::scream_cat::scream_cat:
