So that both the players and himself can keep track of whats been going on in the development so far and so that people don’t complain while the game is being updated and asking him what he’s doing with his time.
It’s been basically a year of TGR. Do you know the amount of people who would be questioning him right now if there wasn’t a trello to look at?
Would you guys think that being so transparent about development would impact areas of ‘hype’ for the game? The logic here is that if Vetex reveals everything he does, people would know about what’s to come. This is compared to not revealing much, and giving brief teasers about the game to build curiosity and hype
That much is true, I suppose.
Although I assume as Testers, you guys have some degree of control over what is added to the game by way of feedback, which is also nice.
The things revealed are usually always gameplay mechanics and stuff, if it’s something to do with the lore it’s very cryptic. I don’t think it affects the hype in a negative way. We know what’s to come but we don’t know how it will play out
Most of the story information is not put on the trello (or he writes somthing ambiguous like “completed story part 12”). He also doesn’t show most of the islands. We know the mechanics, but we don’t know anything about the story. We don’t know what many islands look like. Because of that, I don’t think he is killing the hype with the trello.
well there’s people that think he’s a lazy a$$ and barely work on AO, which is why it has been almost a year or so since it was announced and still hasnt been released yet
