in hades’ current state, i think it’s better if he was just retconned entirely since he contributes nothing to the story and only undermines durzacheron’s own agency

Excuse me the entire pantheon couldn’t take magics from humanity when it was still prometheus who was giving the magics (a.k.a. no naturally born users) and that pantheon either ended up slaughtered or serving humans
Hades is now completely alone, and magic is all over the place, every day humans with magic are born, not to mention several hundred curse users
He is not that stupid
if hades could create the absorption curse, he could just use it himself
but alright give it to this random crippled guy that will surely work better

probably bc it’s a part of their own power / their own power dwarfs the power of curses
i’m pretty sure the gods are stronger than the strongest curse users with possibly the exception of cursebeard and morock
but that’s something i’ve heard, i can’t rly give a concrete source lol
I never said it was a good plan, and this is the best justification I can think of while trying to keep compliant with the Lore Doc.
Because curses are made for humans, gods have pretty much own magic which is way stronger
because hades’s current place in the story is kinda goofy which is why i say

i think the reason they dont use elemental curses at least is because they already have that power. Prometheus obviously controlled promethean flame, zeus had lightning and storm. hades had earth, poseidon had water and poseidon magic, etc.
So this only leaves the question of experimental curses and why cant they use them.
Honestly I agree, though I would still like him to be in the lore just not in such a strange and antagonistic way.

also that’s an experimental curse i don’t think the swimming thing applies to it anyway
