The worst harems are the ones like in Sword Art Online. Most are useless and don’t contribute except for comedy

Well I like KonoSuba, I think it’s a pretty good isekai ;/

But I do agree for the most part that a major contribution to isekai is the comedic aspect and not really about story

And that is why KonoSuba is one of the better ones. It’s basically an abridged series that is actually the original.
