It’s lore accurate, some paint colors are expensive to create.
I’m not entirely sure, Either it’s not something that was considered in the first place OR some parts of the ship MIGHT have parts that can’t be colored in the whole spectrum due to certain part type’s which is commonly a problem with special meshes but idk if the ships have something like that in the first place.
