Because Twitter is a multi million dollar company. Until they either lose their userbase or their funds, it’s staying.
It still works as social media. Having a terrible userbase does not mean bad. If anything the Twitter users have to grow some fucking balls and put some thought in what they say. Applies to most cases.
I remember that time they attempted to justify “loli” being a sexual term because Genshin Impact official account leaked a small childlike character called Sayu. And obviously someone got called out as a weirdo and got death threats, because that’s how Genshin’s Twitter fanbase is. I don’t like to involve myself in any kind of stuff like that.
