For the time being, yes. Mostly because of the insane cases of overpowered mages in Arcane Adventures, but also because an explanation as to what aura is has yet to be released, stopping berserkers and warriors from reaching a theoretical potential as there is no theory in the first place.
Souvella explains what aura is in game and Vetex has talked about it a few times on the forums
So aura is basically just magic-lite, which is why Vetex has said pure non-magic builds like berserkers or warriors typically canât get as strong as the strongest mages. But they can still get pretty damn strong, top 15-25 of the verse according to him
I see, but wouldnât that mean that fighter classes somehow manage to grow the ability to use magic-energy in a manner that doesnât make use of magic circles, something that mages of this era canât do due to it lowering oneâs lifespan?
Still, that information somehow doesnât solve the issue that there is no theory regarding the infusion of magic energy into oneâs fists/weapons and why it reacts in so many different manners to so many different things.
Chaos when they meet a mysterious man named DubiousLittleTyp0 and they hear the man whisper the spell âmillion magics: testicular explosionâ
Yeah I dunno, we have a shockingly little info on how magic works in general. It doesnât even seem like that lifespan-lowering magic is even canon anymore since the lore doc now leads with humans unlocking magic circles right after getting magic from Prometheus, which is a darn shame in my opinion. And I also donât know how those fighter classes are able to infuse magic energy if they canât use magic to begin with, donât even know if thereâs any info on that
