Why mages are the strongest?

Okay so as we probably know (or at least I think you do) mages can live quite much longer so, does it mean that when a mage reaches peak of his magical abilitys cant he just learn less important stuff like fighting styles or using weapons if he wants to?

(Btw threat this post like mage supremacy propaganda since thats pretty much what it is)

i don’t think there’s necessarily a hard cap for a mage’s strength
they can still train their magic and become even stronger with it instead of focusing on lesser things like using their fists

Yeah I know but there are people like theos who lived for almost 1000 years so focusing only on magic that you already are complete master of wont be that effective. Im just gonna assume that in the end there is a limit to how strong your magic can get and once you achieve it you can just focus in other things just for the fun of something new to do

i guess

we don’t rly have examples of these sort of ppl in lore tho so i’m inclined to think magic users who live for that long almost never reach their max limit if it exists

Well its kinda hard to get stronger for people like idk Rupin if only people on his level and stronger are other curse users

(Just a dumb example that probably makes no sense)

i don’t see how this

would cause this

No idea either, probably I uses too much of a game logic, still tho I belive there is a limit that you just cant cross since there cant really be a natural born mage with really hight potential

Theos could definitely throw hands.

I mean imagine living for almost millenia and never bothering to spend a week on learning some fighting style

The hard cap for mages strength is chaos, as chaos is basically just THE mage. The reason oracles are less strong is because they use creation, which is a bit weaker than chaos, since it creates instead of destroys.

Unfortunately, niether mages nor oracles can live long enough to ever rival a fraction of a percent of chaos/creations powers, so it doesn’t really matter unless you are a sea curse user and just spam magic dagger into the corner for eternity or some shi

bec magic op

theos was ripped as fuck man

Seeing as non-magic builds are the only ones who have a defined limit that’s probably the case

I know he was, theos literally means god in greek. My point is that people living as long as him can learn any fighting style or how to use weapons. I also belive mages can imbue things too

mages are indeed superior to all
got ganked by 2 agility poison mages who just spammed beam and ran the second i got relatively close

I know right?

Then you just become a conjour/warlock. Duhh

Since being strong with magic makes you live longer, that means your body has to become more durable. I feel like mages that have lived for long times would be more durable/stronger then a berseker. Why learn fighting styles when you can just blast them away. Magic boosts the body. Thats why magic hybrids would be stronger than non magic/vit builds aswell.

Mages > magic-hybrids > non-magic builds
This means would be kinda useless to learn other stuff.
(I also don’t think magic really has a limit).

Edit: Learning how to use weapons/fighting styles can help with body movement/control.

I dont think there are builds that you gotta stick to in lore but yeah, all what Im saying is just assuming there is a limit

i think conjurer would be second strongest right behind paladin
like imagine a lost magic conjurer with a legendary weapon
