Why was mud magic removed from the list? I seriously think it was one of the more original ideas for lost magic instead of a thousand fire variants.
most people didnt like it ig
maybe itll come back, maybe… ( severe copium )
got replaced by lunar magic (the 1 water variant)
Most likely because the contrast between the other lost magics and M U D was too big.
+I think this was a joke magic
isn’t thats what lost magics were suppose to be? we don’t need all the atomic seperating nuclear magics just give me mud and some swamp shit
more variants… great
lunar and mud have always been there at first wdym
If I remember correctly people kept shitting on mud magic and making memes about which probably made vetex annoyed or whatever and then mud magic got removed from the game
They both existed at once, it wasn’t replaced
Rarely any people actually cared for mud magic and it was seen as kind of a joke/the least desirable magic, because of this Vetex removed it from the list as a slowness gimmick can still be added to something else.
The entire list is just speculation so taking it as a fact of what will and will not exist isn’t a good idea, just sit and hope
I imagined mud magic wouldve done the dmg similar to sand dmg, mud blindness, and slowness
For me same but instead of slowness on impact it slows the user down significantly whenever they step on the puddles
(Fixed via t jumping or getting out of it)
Changed the name back
The reason is simple.
The chance of mud becoming the meta is too terrifying, stupid, and terrifyingly stupid to even be left as a possibility.
Could you imagine atomic, scorch, inferno, apocalypse bringer and equinox existing and yet mud is meta
exactly
That would be fucking hilarious
me with my Reinforced Fire/Sun/Inferno mage build getting decimated by a T2 Basic/Mud Warlock
Going off of how quickly you can die under the affects of ironskin’s slowness, giving players the ability to slow down others without potions would be insane for pvp
Honestly? I kind of think it could fit in, not as a lost magic, but as a regular, base magic.
