Why snow will still be good after the snowy status got nerfed

After watching the AO showcase. I saw a criminal using sand and I saw the showcaser’s screen turn very orange however I could still see through it then I was thinking. If sand is similar to snow then does this mean that the snowy status effect will pretty much be the same but just white.

I mean tbh I think snowy would still be fine, I doubt I’ll notice a difference

so snows blind is pretty much deepwoken’s shadow blind but its white
