Imagine thinking they’ll care or take seriously about a post like this. All the right things are the original AU lore. Not whatever stuff you make up. This isn’t meant to be “realistic” if it involves some stuff heavily inspired (or directly taken) from real life history.

I see no need to press the issue further though. I am no mind-reader, and can not confirm my suspicions in any reasonable way. You certainly did not speak like someone who “gave zero fucks” about my post, but I suppose that too has some contrived explanation to it.

Altavista is actually an altercation of the word “Vistarian” and not the other way around. The Vistarians originally hailed from the land of Vista, which is the root word. The word “alta” means “high, lofty, great”, and was placed there to mean something like “Greater Vista” to honor their fallen land.

I’m pretty sure the people living on altavista were also known as vistarians since it’s a lot easier to say than altavistarian

Don’t get too sympathetic after reading #8, since they entered that land by plundering, killing, and burning down villages like Vikings for a good 200 years until they reached Altavista, and actually wiped out the culture that lived there, who were also from the Savarian’s origin place.
