Why was it added?

Wat is the reason for swim speed to be disabled during combat?
Its just makes running harder for pvers, does Vetex want to make pve player experience miserable?

quite apparently yes.

frankly it feels like vetex is actively trying to drive off the non-competitive side of the community by making the gameplay for them as awful as possible.
Fishing will never be improved, essence will never be improved, its all clan and leaderboard bullshit now, that’s what the game’s being made for.

Is he just adding stuff for pvpers so they don’t need to complain a lot?

If Vetex cared for the health and safety of his players, he would make it not count as being in combat until you hit somebody, not just from getting hit.

vetex should add pve and pvp tags

in pve, swim speed should be 100%. in pvp, swim speed should be 50% and the lower your health is, the less it works meaning you can run but you decide it now.

Jokes aside, yeah, it does kinda feel like there’s too much incentive to be a competitive player while those who aren’t get absolutely nothing, and the sweats who just go around starting fights seem to think everyone is competitive because that’s the part of the game that is focused on the most by the devs.

Multiple kinds of in-combat values would surely help.
PvE would have reduced penalties (if any at all) and have less of the PvP balance
PvP - Victim would have reduced penalties but let you run away
PvP - Attacker would be like it is now
PvP - Defendant would have reduced penalties

@Meta Can you add different combat tags for PvE & PvP to the trello so shit like this doesnt happen? People who dive will now lose all their mobility if they get hit by a shark
