Why would you go through the trouble of getting primordial/lost items if there not op?

Honestly my favorite way is still common stuff like chests and fishing since people can’t just camp a spawn or something
…But a randomly spawning legendary ship is probably good enough

personally i’d like to unlock magical attacks by getting scrolls from chests

so it encourages you to ya know, wander and loot chests

i mean magic move scrolls aren’t gonna be super rare so its possible that could happen.

makes sense that you’re learning magic from scrolls with spells on them or something

As long as you make it so it takes a while to get to these tests then it shouldn’t be much of a problem and also technically the 1/25000 chances are infinitely repeatable as well since you can just keep on repeating.

How is it any less boring than clicking on chests 250 thousand times?

Since when did I say that it had to be apart of the storyline or some quest. In fact, I absolutely hate things restricted to storylines instead of giving freedom to the player.

Since I’ve never played RL before I can’t argue about that but I will say that I’ve seen some Roblox games with really good anti exploit such as the past few games from Visual Studios.

Make dungeons/islands that randomly spawn in random locations (with not too bad RNG) with enemies that are the level of endgame areas and design a complex and hard process to get to the scroll, whether it be a randomised combination of different battles plus a couple bosses or just one extremely hard boss.

honestly RNG is the best way to go about it so everybody can grind for it, no matter the level, but still have to work hard

The same thing still applies. If you make whatever drops it easy to come by but so impossibly difficult that only 0.001% of players can complete it then those 99.999% of players that can’t won’t ever stop complaining

Everyone should have a chance to get it if they put in enough time and effort, not just those that are gods at combat

Then make the enemies that minimum level or whatever level you are when you enter. I’m not vetex so don’t assume I know his exact idea of the level you’re intended to get it

Not once did I say the exact percentage of people I want to get it, it just has to be a difficulty that serves its purpose the best.

If Vetex wanted that then he would have made a set number of things to do to get it. Not rng.

Not if it’s such a huge amount of work required to deter people from getting it as much as a 1 out of 25 thousand chance does.

I was just saying those percentages so you got a general idea of what’d happen, unless it was that ridiculous everyone would end up completing whatever the trial is and getting a primordial scroll. What would be stopping god players from completely ruining the economy by getting a scroll every hour?

If you make it a task so difficult like you’re describing the chance your average player would be able to complete the task is 0%. What I meant by that was that everyone should have a chance of obtaining it, not just god players.

Then make the spawn rate of the trials much harder, it definitely wouldn’t be 1/25000 but it’ll at probably be 1 attempt per day
