Why would you go through the trouble of getting primordial/lost items if there not op?

Doesn’t solve the issue of non-god players having no chance whatsoever at getting one.

frankly just having rng on the sealed sea chests or whatever is way better and simpler than some messy complicated trial shit

As I said, it doesn’t need to be so hard that only god players can get it. If you really want my estimation then I would want it so that at least 20% of the high-level playerbase can do it.

That’s like saying games should just be some simple clickfest with no depth at all.

Take any RNG challenge, multiply the expected attempts by 10x, and now it’s not an RNG challenge anymore. You could have 10,000 people do this and the overwhelming odds are that every single one of them would succeed.

Nobody has 20k catches and no sunkens. It’s probablistically impossible.

The question isn’t “how do we stop everyone from getting it”, because any sufficiently dedicated player will always get it.
The question is “how dedicated should the player need to be to get it”. RNG is a bad way of masking the fact that the answer to that question is usually “many dozens of hours of grinding”.

Yes, because it should take skill and effort in order to get powerful, It should not come out of nowhere when you really don’t deserve it.

With this rng system, it’s like a character of a story suddenly just getting a massive powerup just because.

Its literally that simple, why do rare things have to be obnoxiously powerful and unbalanced?
That’s what the AA legendary weapons were and everybody hated them, I hated them even though I had one so I’m near certain that people who didn’t have one hated them more.

Because 1 sounds more pleasing than the other. You can
A. Make a challenge to always kill 100 Exiled’s for a single drop
B. Make a 1/10 chance to get that drop
C.(My preferred option assuming there’s a loot mercy in some form) Increase or retain the rarity of these rare drops but also drop less rare items when you don’t get the rare drops so that it’s not a waste of time.
D. Loot Mercy which can only apply to B or C.

Also RNG is a surprise element that’s much more fun than “ok I’m about to get it in 5762 more kills, just a few more ults and server hops to go.”
