Title self explanatory, with the changes Roblox is making it seems less and less likely every day that it makes it to the end of the year without shutting down or going through extreme restructuring
The 8 year olds don’t care about these updates, so yes.
They do however care when Jimmy mcyoutuber tells them to complain
me who watches an mc (minecraft) youtuber called jimmy:
Most of them won’t stop playing Roblox because of how many games there are which are designed to be extremely stimulating. They don’t have any social media presence to complain verbally either.
i need the young to play roblox so i can exploit them for riches
Unless multiple people get replaced the chances seem extremely low for Roblox’s survival
and even if ppl get replaced whoever shows up will need to have enough brain power to not punch themself in the guts
Two things to consider here
- The older playerbase is pissed beyond measure
- The younger playerbase is likely shrinking due to child safety concerns
Older players probably make a bigger chunk of Roblox’s revenue because they can spend more
The only thing keeping the littles on here is the fact that most of the games are more addictive than crack
I’m really not sure if Roblox is gonna die or if some rich guys are gonna buy the whole thing out, but it’s not looking good for their company as a whole
Hopping off Roblox was the best decision I’ve made this year
I barely play Roblox nowaday (and only played few games on roblox)
same
the only game I still play on roblox is AO and even then I only do so once or twice per week
You vastly underestimate how cognizant children are, press them for long enough and they WILL leave
Yeah but… it’s a lot of kids. You can’t realistically get everyone to go at once, and there’ll always be more players that join when some leave.
Alright but remember how a company like this operates, they literally can’t downsize without collapsing so any users mass leaving is effectively a death blow
you’re assuming the leaving can even reach a severe % of them, no hiatus / protest / boycott works on any large corporation and Roblox is no different
Roblox collapsing in a single year is wildly unrealistic and you shouldn’t expect it to happen
Of course not, all the gambling games will keep them afloat.
Yeah but I’m bored and want to argue on the internet
I’m fairly certain roblox will survive the year.
What I’m less certain about is if David Baszucki will survive the year.
Frankly, I doubt it.
