In full release, hybrids should get access to the sunken staff (or at least the first few skills). On paper it seems pretty great for high attack size builds, considering it has a base 1.25x size with the only drawback being speed (staffs are already decently fast, so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal).
So, what are your thoughts on this? Will the sunken staff get saved by full release or will it always be the unwanted sunken item?

won’t be worth using until level 192 or higher (thats when you’ll have enough points to get the second move on it)
its not worth dropping 2-3 moves for one mediocre one
ash turns into steam (I think), so you wouldn’t get the full size boost unfortunately
the thing is
scalded with ash turns into petrified, and sunken staff is already pretty big, which means a basically free stun if you can land a follow up
it’ll probably be good for ice and lightning conjurers and mediocre on most other builds
the horrible speed affinity is really holding it back imo so even if we get piercing gale on it, it’ll be too slow to be effective over something like greenwish staff
