I don’t really know much about making build and this is something I put together with what I have is it good?
first: fighting style? (if it’s not boxing i’ll be upset.)
second: yeah looks good. extremely bulky with all that regen, maybe to an unneeded degree, but i suppose it’s meant to silence out the vatrachos huh.
only suggestions would be to, a) use another atlantean esscence because you can have 1 more insanity without getting any of the pesky effects since your warding will still be higher, and it’ll give you free stats (i’d put it on the theurgist cape that’s 13 extra power)
and b) maybeeeee invest a littleeeee bit into agility or attack speed? unless if you’re fine with a slower, tankier build, which is by no means bad.
i do have one gripe. wind is generally meant to be more dps rather than a “walk around, tank, blast” magic, but that’s nothing major and you should play the way you like.
yeah other than one more atlantean esscence and me asking what your FS is that’s all i have
oh but in order to put the atlantean esscence on the theurgist set you’d need to switch the enchant. put the virtuous enchant onto vatrachos and the regen enchant onto theurgist, then put the esscence onto theurgust. 13 free power and no stats are changed besides that.
iron leg
IL on wind is an uhhhh, interesting pick. never heard of it. mind if i ask why
i though it was nice
fair. i don’t want to completely downplay the idea because if you wanna use it then use it, but the only issue is wind and IL don’t synergize at all, so your damage will be kind of meh.
(to be fair if you wanted to be powerful you probably wouldn’t use wind in the first place since there’s better magics.)
if you wanna be like, in the “meta” for wind, I’d use boxing (also has knockback, 15% block damage reduction which is like a shield, and very fast) and maybeeee Sailor Fist if you’re planning on getting either Snow or Ice as your second magic, since Wind Magic does more against Snowy and Freezing targets.
but again i don’t wanna ruin your fun and if you like IL then by all means please use it. it’s not what you asked anyway, sorry for taking it off the topic.
to answer your original question, for IL, i’d say it’s a good build. Iron Leg is bulky by nature so adding more bulk onto that is good, since it’s main issue is endlag, you really wanna build more bulk than speed because speed will help less.
so yeah, a lot of regen and a lot of power is good. you could make it have more defense, but that’s a small thing and i consider regen better anyway
I don’t really care about meta I though I need a new build because the ncp have been destroying me recently.
also don’t use oracle bracelet. it’s stats are worse if you have 0 vitality, so probably run something else with bulk like steel pauldrons or samurai helmet or something with defense/resistance
i’d either get a new fighting style or you could do the long route and get a new magic, which you’d need to entirely reset your file for that. you could also change your build.
if you wanna run bulk, do something like paladin or juggernaut (knight is okay but i consider the others better)
or just don’t reset your file and practice that works too
Ok thanks for the suggestion.
no problem. if you ever need build help i’m sure you can just ask something like “hey i’m currently running a [magic/FS] [class], what stats should I invest in” and there’s probably some pvp sweat who’ll go “oh yeah definitely run lots of agility because blah blah”
not enough agility
if thats good to you…
now onto the items
- why theurgist item? to counteract atlantean essence? then 3 warding is too much, 2 is enough (its not efficient, explanation below)
- why a vit item if you arent a vit user? just use like a boss drop or something
- very little defence, unless you intend on going glass cannon (you arent, 70 power isnt even average for an exotic scroll build)
- why spread out very small substat investments? 50 aspeed or 30 asize wont do much at all
- your EP is really low, usually 700 is not hard to get at all (you can go around simular posts and see the other builds)
warding, as said, is overkill for your insanity, and if you want some just for dark sea runs, then i’d suggest just using virtuous scrolls instead of theurgist items unless you need the secondary effects (doubt but your pick)
additionally its better to not use warding items at all, and focus on a normal non-atlantean essence build, unless you want to run atlantean without any warding (idk people do that)
i have no clue what kinda stats you are looking for so i cant cook anything for you
big number regen = big number heal and big number = me happy.
that’s the only explanation you’ll be getting.
I’ll try to do what I can. This build is a result of what I already had so it ended up like that.
i can help just giving a frame if you tell me what you want in your build
theres plenty of cheaper no modifieds/no exotic scrolls/no atlantean essence/no sunkens setups
yeah, again, if you’re going for bulk but still wanna use something, go paladin or juggernaut (or knight but again idk about knight’s general situation.)
also use defense and regen with a little bit of resistance if you’re good at blocking. things like sunken and amulets give lots, so you should be good there.
my suggestion for juggernaut with IL? Full Argos set (minus probably the helmet), and whatever else for bulk you wanna slap in, alongside some Power obviously. This’ll make your Resistance Focus give you lots of health and decent regen as well.
This is just a build idea i had forever ago that i still have yet to do use it if you like.
(no it’s not meta) (i think)
