Both Derrick and Sven would fall onto the sandy dessert floor, followed by Ryan falling onto Sven.
“Where are we?”
Derrick questioned.
“The Bush Rangers, obviously, but where is Zackary?”
Ryan replied.
“The old man probably defeated them all, he should come back to us soon.”
Sven answered.
“Well, if this is the Bush Rangers, our town should be about North from here judging by the sun.”
Derrick concluded.
All three of the boys would travel many hours in the scorching dessert with Sven constantly asking for water.
“Why won’t they just turn this area into a futuristic town like we have at home?”
Sven let out a sigh.
“Native creatures, spiritual connections, i must say i’m getting pretty bored of seeing blue streetlights and hologram advertisements everywhere, as well as Marauder investigators patrolling he streets.”
Derrick replied.
They would continue for many more days until they saw a house emerge as far as they saw.
“I’m first on the toilet!”
Sven screamed as he sprinted.
The men would all slam into the deserted house and noticed it had been abandoned.
“Won’t hurt to stay here until morning.”
Ryan suggested.
All three of them would rest in the house for the remainder of the day while waiting for Zackary to return.
-Meanwhile-
“Why can’t i locate them?”
Charles screamed while slamming his wrist-map.
“Perhaps i teleported them to a location away from civilization.”
Zackary theorized.
“How don’t you know where you teleported them?!”
James yelled.
“I was in a fit of fright, all i thought about was to get them out of here.”
Zackary responded.
“If they are out of reach, they must be at the Bush Rangers, that is basically the only area not corrupted by our technology.”
Charles concluded.
All three of the adults would walk out of their temple, get into one of the Marauder vehicles and speed into the dessert.
-At the Bush Rangers-
Derrick would stay up to 10:00pm staring at the stars waiting for Zackary until he saw a large figure walking towards him as he covered the stars he once looked at.
“Wizards!~”
The large creature yelled at the house.
The creature would immediately pull out a rocket launcher and blasted it towards Derrick.
“Did you say Wiz-”
Sven and Ryan would be blasted by the explosion knocking them back inside the house.
The creature would begin sprinting towards Derrick, he would however dodge out the way as the creature smashed right through the house.
“Holy shit!”
Derrick yelled as he tried to shoot the monster with an M9.
“…Enchanted with magic, much like the weapons we use.”
A female in robes appeared sitting on top of the roof watching the battle.
The bullets would continue to bounce off of the monster’s chest as he slowly stomped towards Derrick.
“GARUGH!”
The creature yelled as he backhand-slapped Derrick into the air.
The lady would laugh and ordered the beast to kill him.
Before this would happen, Derrick would notice a Grenade right behind the beast and began to run away.
“NAERUGH!”
The beast yelled as the explosion let out metal piercing the monster’s back.
Another women dressed in a Military attire would then throw another Grenade.
The lady on the roof would then freeze the grenade mid-air.
“Shit!”
The military officer began to run away, but would be knocked back by the explosion.
The creature would walk up to the Officer and lift her off the ground.
“No!”
Derrick would point his palm out at the beast as Water spewed out.
“GLAUGH!”
The large wave would push the monster back into the house.
The Marauder Vehicle would approach them, as Derrick stared and thought to himself, “This is the end.”
Until he saw two wizards including Zackary exit out and ran towards the beast.
“Frost Immobilize!”
James would freeze the monster right in place as he let go of the Officer.
“Lucy, it doesn’t have to be like this!”
Charles would yell at the Marauder on the roof.
“That’s how it has always been…”
She would mumble to herself as she teleported away.
“WIZARDS!~”
The creature would break out of the ice appearing twice as big as it once was.
“Metal Laceration!”
Charles would try cutting off the creature’s legs, but to no effect.
The creature would uppercut Charles into the air and punch him mid-air, far into the sandy dessert as his hat fell off.
It would then punch James down into the ground, almost burring his head as it laid eyes on the old man, Zackary.
“…I don’t think so…”
Zackary’s raspy voice emerged as his eyes glowed with moonlight.
A large light would go right through the creatures chest as it screamed, as blood sprayed out revealing a large hole in his chest.
“GLAER~”
The creature tried to punch Zackary but would fall down, dead.
“…What the hell was that?”
The military officer questioned.
“A Ripper, once human-beings turned into zombies by being corrupted by magic…another one of the Marauder’s projects.”
James explained.
“One of them?”
She replied.
“Oh, there are much more of them…in the making though.”
James informed her.
“Who are you?”
Zackary questioned.
“Sarah Drake.”
She gave Zackary a handshake.
Charles would notice both Ryan and Sven knocked out in the house and ran towards them.
“Son…”
Charles would help Ryan off the ground.
“Don’t i get a hand?”
Sven questioned as he’d be ignored.
“…Dad?”
Ryan would stare into his father’s eyes.
“You’ve unlocked your magic i see…”
Zackary would look at Derrick.
“I have water…and you thought i was born without magic!”
Derrick yelled.
“I never said- …good to see you’ve unlocked it.”
Zackary would smile.
“Let’s go, more Marauders should be returning soon.”
James commanded.
All of the wizards including Sarah would enter the large vehicle and drove back into Bell Village with the blue streetlights reflecting right off the car.
