The new multiversal wizard, Finley, was resting within the medical bay room being observed by several magic guards and scientists.
“What could you find of him?”
James spoke to the head-researcher.
“It is tough to say.”
The researcher placed down the analyze sheets.
“While he is definitely a human-imbued with magic, his other bodily materials such as muscle structure and bone density are much tougher than an average human.”
The researcher spoke.
“I still do not believe this guy comes from another universe, what else did you find?”
James pondered.
“Well, he has almost zero background information, family, or any ID, it’s as if he never existed until now.”
The researcher replied.
A long pause as James stared at the research with clear blue-eyes.
“What do you mean…almost?”
James questioned.
“GAH!”
The wizard, Finley awakened from his bed with a puddle of sweat streaking down his forehead.
The wizard immediately punched one of the researchers and grabbed another in a headlock.
“Release him, now!”
James spoke, about to blast the wizard with ice magic.
Finley looked around the room, fascinated by how the doctors were dressed.
“Where am i?”
Finley questioned, letting go of the researcher.
-Elsewhere-
Ryan, Sven and Derrick were lurking around an underground cave, located within the Himalayas.
“Brrrh, it’s freezing!”
Derrick spoke, hugging his chest with his arms.
“Faster we find what we are looking for, faster we can get the heck out of here.”
Ryan replied, holding a torch.
“And… what are we looking for? I may have not read our objective.”
Sven replied.
“Basically, many people have gone missing while mounting climbing, one of our wizards back at our homebase was able to feel a magical presence emanating from the caves, like many fallen wizards had been dragged into here.”
Derrick answered.
Just as he finished, a chilling roar echoed throughout the caves, followed by a sharp scream of a human.
“…The Chenoo.”
Ryan softly spoke.
“The Chen-Who?”
Sven replied.
-Meanwhile | Wizard Homebase-
Finley sat in a room, across from James, Winston and Alice.
“I was in a battle with an evil wizard named “Knightfall” he a former hero at my own universe until, he was corrupted by dark forces.”
Finley spoke.
“It was the most destructive battle we had yet until, he managed to counter me. He had me beaten and threw me off the building but then, a white light appeared below me as a fell into it…and then i was here.”
Finley spoke.
“You’ve fallen through our Dimensional Portals, a malfunction on Winston’s behalf.”
James looked at Winston with disappointment.
“Thanks to him, i was saved but now my own universe is at stake, with every hero besides me killed by Knightfall, it needs a protector!”
Finley replied.
“You still need to recover first, while your body is much more durable than our own Universes, you heal much slower, rest.”
Alice replied.
“You people better heal me fast so the sooner i can get back…I suppose your universe doesn’t have a fast-food joint; I’m starving.”
Finley sat back down on his bed as he recovered.
-Meanwhile | Himalayas Caves-
The three wizards explored throughout the cave, searching for the numerous citizens and wizards that went missing until they entered the last room.
“Uah, what is that smell?”
Fumes of decay flooded their nostrils.
“I think we’re here…”
Ryan pointed over the many dead corpses that they piled at the corner of the room.
“Jesus, they’re all dead.”
Sven whispered.
“Hurrrrhm~”
A low growl breathed behind the wizard.
They all quickly turned around to be pummeled in the face by the Chenoo, all of them scattered around the room.
“WHAT THE-”
Sven looked at the mythical creature, a grotesque white-fur creature with blood-stained around its mouth.
The Chenoo quickly picked up an ice-boulder and threw it at Sven.
“Plasma Blasts!”
Sven shot two scorching bolts at the boulder, clashing through the boulder and hitting the Chenoo.
The blast did nothing to the Chenoo, but only made it angry.
“I thought fire bet ice!”
Sven yelled.
The Chenoo ran over to Sven, punching him directly as his ribcage, pushing him down onto the floor.
“FUH-”
Sven felt his ribs crack as he laid injured on the ground.
“Sapphire Barrage!”
Ryan released multiple shards of crystals at the Chenoo, managing to pierce it’s back.
“UARRRGH!”
The Chenoo growled in the pain.
“Not so tough against piercing attacks? I guess that’s too bad. Sapphire Bea-”
Ryan laughed until he was caught off guard as the Chenoo dashed across the room in a nano-second and punched Ryan into the air.
“AH!”
Ryan flew into the air as the Chenoo followed up by kicking Ryan in the face, being lunged through an ice pillar.
Both Ryan and Sven tried blasting the Chenoo, however, the creature developed a cold aura that blocked the attacks.
Derrick then figured, piercing attacks worked best and that his magic was magic.
“Water Beam!”
Derrick shot a jet of water towards the ice barrier; the water froze creating a large ice spike that piercing the Chenoo right in the heart.
“GUAAArrrrghhh…”
The Chenoo let out one more painful scream before falling down onto the floor, the spike driving deeper into its heart.
“Sick dude…”
Sven laughed.
“Ryan, have you finished with the operation?”
James questioned through a radio.
“The captured people are dead; however, the threat has been neutralized.”
Ryan replied.
“Sorry to hear that, but we have…stranger problems back at base.”
James replied.
