Ryan, Sven and Derrick where all traveling back to the Wizard’s Labatory to meet the new universal wizard after having taken out the Ice-Giant over at the Himmilyan mountains.
“Couldn’t we have used the teleported to y’know, TELEPORT to the BASE?!”
Sven yelled.
“Matter Shifting is nullified, remember?”
Derrick replied.
“Oh, right.”
Sven shook his head as they all walked down a long path.
“Do you think we should have brought the creature back to our base?”
Derrick wondered.
“Nah, that thing is a whole can of worms i’d rather not be invested in, we were there to save people, we ended up killing it, the people were all dead, end of misison.”
Ryan answered.
The three of them walked for a little while longer in silence.
“Hey, Ryan, do you think Denzel is still somewhere out there?”
Sven broke the silence.
A long, quiet pause followed by as he finally responded.
“His condition has only worsened, the Ripper-Virus, while was a massive power-booster, is slowly starting to kill him now, the doctors are trying to extract as much of the effects as possible, but it’s extensive work.”
Ryan replied.
The three of them finally made it to the building, seeing Finley resting on a bed and James, standing Infront of them with his arms crossed.
“So, what was the urgency about?”
Sven walked towards James, curious of the news.
“The wizard from the other Universe 2, terrible name, i know. He is resting and recovering well, however, he was a hero known as the Hopebringer, the last one as a matter of fact, since all the wizards from Universe 2 had been slaughtered by Knightfall”
James explained.
“Issue being, without him to protect his Universe, it could fall into anarchy, so we’re going to send a squad of wizards over to the universe in order to protect the world and take out Knightfall.”
James concluded.
Finley, the last wizard of Universe 2 got up from his bed and walked towards them.
“Don’t waste it- don’t waste your lives for my own, it is my world and I alone have to save it!”
Finley yelled.
“He- he is far too powerful, his magic, strength, speed, intellig- it’s FAR beyond our own!”
Finley spoke again.
“It is alright dude, we had our fair share of taking out Dark Wizard Organizations, Aliens, fugly looking businessmen, some scary villain will be a cake-walk.”
Sven replied.
“But why, why risk your lives?”
Finley questioned.
“…It’s just what we wizards do, help each other out in times of darkness.”
James smiled while answering.
Just then, Winston entered the room, having repaired his Universe Portal after its malfunction.
“Well folks, it’s ready, sort out a group and i will take you all to his universe.”
Winston spoke, his shirt and hair covered in oils.
“You sure you have it all fixed and repaired this time?”
James questioned.
“I did test the portal on some crates and by the looks of it, it went through and not vaporized like the first test-”
Winston immediately stopped talking.
James nodded as Ryan, Derrick, Sven, Alice all walked towards the portal.
“We’re going to need a lot more than just the five of us, if anything what Finley said was true, we should call in some old faces.”
Alice spoke.
“We could bring Leon and Sarah over, but they’re living in peace taking care of that Wendigo child.”
Derrick replied.
James looked over to a memorial wall, with several wizards plastered on it, including Fang Cobalt Percy, who was presumed dead by many, but his true fate, being known only to them.
“I think i know a guy…”
James squinted, looking over at the wall.
-Meanwhile | Universe 2-
A dark abandoned building constructed of stone and concrete held dust, ashes and the scent of decay. Two men stood within the room, waiting for someone to arrive.
Straight after, a flash of red light entered the room as a dark force burst through a door and stood right Infront of the two men.
Knightfall towered over them, his crimson eyes staring into the very souls of the men.
“You wanted us, why?”
One of the men, known as the villain, Karmatic was dressed in light red robes with a brown belt and several scars on his arms and face.
"You two. Are. Needed.
Knightfall spoke to them, his voice was deep and sounded as if there was so much power within him, it emanates within his vocal cords.
The other two villains, almost unable to speak having heard him.
“We’re at your service, Knightfall”
The other villain, known as Pathogene answered.
“There are Universes. Beyond our Own…”
Knightfall whispered to them, one of the demons inhabiting his body repeated the sentence.
