Will world of magic still be considered canon in the arcane lore? I noticed it wasn’t on the complete arcane lore document. Is there a reason for this or is it just that the game didn’t have a fully fletched storyline.
The lore doc does say this:
The ending of the Arcane Universe will be added here when the storyline of Arcane Odyssey is completed.
WoM was probably gonna act as that ending before the revamp. I’m guessing they have a roadmap of events from WoM that they’ll polish up once the storyline of AO is done. So parts of WoM’s limited storyline and lore will probably stay canon, but other parts may get changed up depending on how AO unfolds.
WoM’s entry on the lore doc got obliterated for some reason, iiiiim not sure if it gonna return or not
WOM NOW IS NOT CANON
in the days when WOM just released, wom was far far sequel of AA. Peacekeeper(AA player) after defeating Durza, goes on “crusade” and collects remaining curses, then, he lifts the chunk of earth from the sea floor and creates Magius.
Now that we have TGR and AO in 2023, lore was re-written to fit AO.
AO happens on opposite part of the earth from AA/Seven Seas. And all events are around month after Durza died in a final fight.
WOM is far far future of AA, it mifht be still canon but i dont think it is. AO probably will be the end of Arcane Universe trilogy(if vet wont want to make another game lol)
