Saw this thread and found it pretty interesting, so I used http://forebears.io to look up my own surname and the WoM ones. I’m not sure if this site is broken or something but some of the WoM names are actually rarer than I thought. 
Anyways use this website or any other to share the rarity of your WoM character’s surname rarity. Or your own if you want idc.

Also, the future surname for my characters is a little more uncommon than I originally expected:
(It’s a tribute to Charles Calvin from the Henry Stickmin Collection, and although the name means ‘Bald’ I suppose it does kinda match up if it’s most dense in Northern Ireland and my characters with it are redheads.)

ok actually idk wtf is going on because the website gave me 23,000th but when i straight up searched for my name the SAME WEBSITE said 598,000th and that only 200 people have it. That’s definitely not the case lmao must be a wacky website
