invisibility potions aren’t “makes it easier”, they’re “removes the challenge”
It’s not making the threat easier/more manageable, it’s just removing it entirely

yeah, instead it should do smth with aggro range but thats prob too much code or smth
Subjective, besides, it’s only going to get harder as more things are added. Right now all we have are stat stick Atlanteans later in the seas, we don’t gotta worry about accidentally running into a whole Dragon mid expedition.
Not really just make an if statement or something. I don’t know Lua so I’m going to use Pseudocode.
If Player_Invis = True
Then Check Invis_Level:
Case 1: level 1 Invis Then Agro Range -= Change in agro distance
Case 2: .Level 2 invis Then…
all the way to Case 5 where it’s level 5 invis or Tier 5.
This is also probably inefficient so there are likely better ways to do this.
Maintaining the agenda… is Vetex’stop priority!1!
the “challenge” being…? what? you can kill every atlantean with a siren bow and walking backwards. its not fun nor engaging, its just something you have to do.
atlanteans aren’t difficult, just extremely tedious to kill. this is why invis potions are popular, you can skip the entire tedious process of killing an atlantean.
it can also be argued that invis potions also make you miss out on potential atlantean essences/weapons, so there is a drawback in using them
yes its subjective
He also buffed scroll rates to 33%
and dark sea exclusive things (armors and ship parts) to 50% from 20% (2.5x more likely to get a ds exclusive item from dark sealed chests)
