Like sure nerf the power stat on all items but because of the dragon blood ritual, shields and other stuff with lots of defense to a point where people have 4.1k hp nerfing the power stat will cause fights to last even longer than it already does.
Thank god this change is happening, since full release builds have been very, very power-biased. People should not be able to do 600 damage while also having over 3k health.
it’s probably an attempt to make the meta not be power+defense
but it will just make power and defense more used since you can’t get as much power with as many substats anymore
remember, the only reason it got this way is because of bteam. its inherently worse running substats because there is no meaning investing in them, either because they have a really bad falloff or just generally trash lol
yeah armor piercing has been weird, deal more damage to defense user and lower effectiveness of substats
its basically like “thats alot of words, too bad i cant read” to any build like mine, plus you cant run ONLY peirce. for it to be effective you have to juggle it with power and its such a mess
