Imagine tragedy cutscene where all this city burns and falls apart. Its would have been such an epic move…
Uh… but ofc re-built later for gameplay purposes.

I wonder what monstrosity rules there.
Trigno and Averill both contributed to making the MC, unsure if Arsen, Freedrock and John Thorne are too
I know for a fact Arsen took the Alaleans to Magius a short while after it was made.
As for what the capital of the Magic Council (I think) is ruled over by, I’m fairly certain that responsibility falls onto The Peacekeeper.
Well, in magical game maybe. But from logical point of view I dislike this theory, because The Peacekeeper seems to be a typical hero, that travels around world and slaying villains, so kingdom would be almost always without its leader, which is a bad move in my opinion.
Averill and Trigno wouldn’t and the same principle should apply to Cursebeard, but he did it.
Cursebeard’s civilization was a huge success, and really rich, and he would leave all the time to play hero with everything working out fine.
Trigno and Averill, and likely Freedrock, were constantly travelling, and at least the former two fought a lot, but I still think they’re sitting way more nowadays
I could understand side characters to rule these cities, but surely not The Peacekeeper himself, he’s got a bigger goal and responsibility.
Well, I don’t see anybody else we know getting that role.
I think it’d be really poetic for The Peacekeeper to end up in the same position as Cursebeard.
I don’t know if there is more information about Cursebeard, but from what I know he sunk Borealis, then fortified some island and sat there forever.
My theory is that he was travelling way more before, but then stopped his deeds and continued to live as a ruler. But I may be wrong.
Didn’t he also go to defeat Durza himself?
Yeah, but that doesn’t means that he is a traveller. He could have sat at Alalea for hundreds of years and only then went to defeat Durza, not because he wanted to save the world, but just to save his own tyranny.
He got his start as an undefeatable pirate who fought god and won
Durza was just a competitor. Cursebeard had to get up and do something, thats my point.
I find it hard to believe Cursebeard sat around all day for years. Even if it was just when he’s being threatened, that happens a lot.
The Peacekeeper could easily be the leader of this city.
Only if he has got magical newspaper just like Agora, so that he can receive news and send orders to his kingdom from the other side of the world.
Well, there is a newsletter in WOM.
I believe that this thing is for gameplay reasons just like awakenings and minds. I mean, it can exist, but cannot appear in your hands from thin air.
The World News is not for gameplay purposes, it is not helpful for anything.
Sure it can’t canonically materialize in your pocket, but surely it wouldn’t be hard for the founder of the continent to get a copy.
Just listen to yourself. You are saying that Peacekeeper could give orders and get news from his kingdom while being on the other side of the world through some newspaper? Sorry, but no… it is too magical even for a game about magic.
I won’t argue about such unrealistic and stupid thing unless Vetex himself tells us that there is a way that can safely transfer information from point A to point B in a span of a seconds. I doubt that Magius could have invented something like that so early.
