Would it be a good idea to write a story based off of a DnD campaign?

I had a shitty idea where instead of me writing the story for each character in my series (Flesh Armored Vanguards), I would just let the players write the story for me through their actions.

Also, when publishing the final story (the version after the DnD campaign), I probably would not tell the audience it’s a campaign.

I’ve never been a DM.

It would be an interesting experience but im kinda concerned wether you will make it past the publishers. We probably have missed out on so many good stories cause of them
