In some bosses it doesn’t seem to work, like Omen, at least in 3 tests where I killed him with luck V, I never got more than one drop and a random amount of meat. This makes me wonder if dragons would work, maybe it would be too “overpowered”.Since it (assumedly) gives 2 drops per death, would using luck 5 give me 6 drops? Or would it only give me the current drops, plus two random ones?

6 drops total due to having two extra rolls, and based on what we have seen if vetex dosen’t let luck apply people will RIOT.
the only boss that doesn’t give extra drop rolls with luck is the omen because vetex his drops to be hard af to get for some reason
Pretty sure it’s because omen has a 100% chance of dropping something
Only use case would be it dropping either multiple items or more meat
i mean that is what luck does in this game, roll for multiple items

a few weeks after release he’d drop multiple items with luck v but vetex nerfed it to one item no matter whether you had luck or not
dragons will also have 100% guaranteed drops; one weapon and one armour piece. but also, some bosses with 100% droprates (like iris) are affected by luck. there’s no predicting whether or not it’ll apply until we actually see the update ourselves
