Ok so it’s common knowledge that while every amgic has a curse, not every curse has a magic. But then I got thinking: “What about poseidon magic?” because last I checked, Poseidon magic is literally just using your raw magic energy, outside of having some kind of element, or special effect attached to it. If it did exist, would it be elemental, or external? And either way, how would it differ from Poseidon magic itself?
if it’s just using raw magic energy then probably the energy curse that cursebeard has
Vetex confirmed that AO won’t have curses if you mean ingame, but maybe the poseiden curse might be seen later in lore if PK didn’t already consume it 
well they’re both just energy, so they might as well be counterparts
poseidon magic isn’t really a magic, as it’s more or less an extension of poseidon. not to mention he’s the only one to ever have been seen using it, and that it’s a primordial magic meaning no circles and using ur soul.
so the likelyhood of just anyone having it is practically 0, and i doubt it’s curse variant remotely exists since i don’t see prometheus or poseidon making the magic/techniques into a curse let alone anyone for that matter.
didn’t prometheus sacrifice a chunk of his power to create the grand fire curses tho? :() + it’s confirmed Tide curse copies a portion of poseidon’s powers. also although youh ave to scroll FAR AS HELL to find it, vetex did note on his twitter once that absorption magic was a primordial amgic, and there is an absoprtion curse. So i’m pretty sure primordial amgics had curse variants too-
yeah but i doubt he’d make the Poseidon curse of all things but who knows
huh, neat makes sense given that poseidon is literally the god associated with water and what not. then poseidon magic having a curse of it’s own named as such would be redundant and just have the tide curse do what poseidon magic can do
well yeah, primordial light, fire, wind, etc. although long gone in use aside some stragglers of gods maybe they have their curse variants.
Poseidon magic wasn’t an elemental magic, he just did that
